If you are interested in renewing a small group or proposing a new small group, please fill

out the new registration form below, save it on your computer, then email the completed

form to barbdecarlo@yahoo.com 

The Adult Christian Education committee reviews and helps you promote your small

group through the weekly church bulletin, Trinity Times, and the

Trinity Facebook page as desired!

DISCERNMENT & DISCOVERY SMALL GROUPS
These groups are meeting virtually during the pandemic.

  • All We Can Do Is Pray - Sometimes, that's all we can do and sometimes we can do more. This group explores prayer in our individual lives, looking to enhance our daily practices.  We share requests and ideas of how to show our prayers in concrete ways.

    • Second and Fourth Thursdays @ 7:00 pm

    • Meets virtually during the pandemic 

  • Covenant Group - A group (maximum 7) that meets under the guidelines of an agreed upon covenant.

    • Led by Ann Chicchi

    • Each Wednesday @ 9:00 am

    • Meets virtually during the pandemic

    • Sharing, prayer, book study

    • Additional groups can form when the maximum number of participants is met

  • Morning Bible Study

    • Led by Barbara DeCarlo

    • Classes are in-person, masked, and socially-distant at the church.

    • Sharing prayer and book study based on the book of Mark

    • Sharing, prayer, and book study based on the book of Mark (ISPN 978-0-8308-2182-2)

    • Sundays at 9 am in the Media Center until June 12

    • Wednesdays at 11 am in the Deacon's Room until June 15

  • The Art of Neighboring

    • Led by Ed Hoener

    • Meets on Saturdays at 11 am in person

    • Begins June 4

    • Based on "The Art of Neighboring: Building Genuine Relationships Right Outside Your Door" by Dave Runyon and Jay Pathak

  • "The Chosen" video series

    • Led by Ann Rooney

    • Meets on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm in person

    • July 6 - August 24

FELLOWSHIP SMALL GROUPS

  • Knit at Night

    • Meets the 3rd Thursday of the month, beginning April 21

  • Men's Group

    • Led by Glenn Sandberg

    • Most 2nd and 4th Wednesdays @ 5:30pm

    • Meets outside the main entrance of Trinity Media

    •  Good conversation over a beer, soda, or tasty beverage ​

  • Wine Time

    • Led by Debbie and Dan Chen, Jan and Ray Carrato​

    • Friday, June 3 from 7 - 9 pm Theme:  Your Favorite Wine

    • Meets once each month at participant's homes

MISSION SMALL GROUPS

  • Thinking of You:  Give a flower. Share a name.

    • We give flowers to celebrate the good times and offer support in the hard times.

    • Donate flowers for pick up

    • Share a name for delivery

    • Arrange bouquets

    • Deliver arrangements

    • No TPC affiliation required to participate

 

These small groups are currently on hold due to Covid.

  • Trinity Gems - a group of older adults who seek fellowship and formation during daytime hours.

    • Meets every third Tuesday of the month in the afternoon for tea or for a meal out.

    • Engages in lively discussion, sharing of needs and hopes​

  • C.P.R. (Connect. Pray. Relax.) 

    • Led by Ed Hoener...newcomers welcome!

    • Fridays at 6:00 pm

    • RSVPs to Ed Hoener (edhoener1@gmail.com) OR JUST COME ON OVER.

    • We try to meet outdoors, if possible, but will go indoors in inclement weather.  Dress accordingly. 

  • Dominican Republic Mission Group

    • Led my Debbie Chen...newcomers always welcome

    • Meeting dates and times vary

    • Mission trips scheduled every 2 years: NEXT trip in to be announced in the future.

    • Fun fundraising events held to offset expenses for needed medical supplies.

    • Many hands need to count and package pills and packing supplies

  • Elijah's Promise

    • Led by Robert Sullivan
    •  Prepare and serve meals for guests at Elijah's Promise Soup Kitchen one day per month
    • Scheduled for 2nd Wednesday of each month at 4:30pm.
  • Sing at Sunrise

    • Led by Dottie Spengel

    • All are newcomers welcome.... no special talent needed!

    • Come join in the joy of singing hymns and songs for and with the residents of Sunrise Adult Living Center.

    • Meets 3rd Friday/month @ 7 pm at Sunrise Assisted Living in East Brunswick, NJ

  • Caring for Seniors

    • Led by Marcy Dalomba...newcomers always welcome!

    • Participants visit Seniors at a local adult community to enjoy fellowship and bring caring, compassionate ministry to those who often are unable to get out and about.

    • Activities include crafts, other activities, and refreshments for Seniors.

    • Dates, times, and activities  scheduled every 1-2 months throughout the year
