Join us on Feb. 27th from 2pm until 3:30pm
For a Special Outdoor Lenten Event!
We look forward to being connected, as well as joining together in reflection, prayer, and some Lenten activities. The event will be held under the overhang by the front entrance to the church. Please remember to wear your mask and keep socially distanced.
We encourage you to invite your neighbors and friends to join us in the following activities:
• Make Living Baskets in waterproof/plastic-lined Easter baskets to take home. Kindly bring your basket with you. Watch the seeds grow and be reminded of the miracle of hope and transformation that is coming in the promise of Easter.
• Share God's Love! Join us while we package Emergency Care Kits that will contain 2 pair of socks, underwear, t-shirts, and toothpaste for local children in need. Include a special note of love and encouragement for those children from Trinity.
• Assemble a Lenten Connection Bag which will be a reminder of the hope and transformation of Easter. When you take this home you can decide on a day of the week that you would like to use the contents to pray and reflect during Lent.
• Lenten Hymns. We will end with some Lenten Hymns and Prayer.

Lent is the period of 40 days which comes before Easter in the Christian calendar. Beginning on Ash Wednesday, Lent is a season of reflection and preparation before the celebrations of Easter. By observing the 40 days of Lent, Christians replicate Jesus Christ's sacrifice and withdrawal into the desert for 40 days. It is the season to observe and commemorate the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the son of God, our Savior and Redeemer.
It is an opportune time to reflect on what it means to be a follower of Christ.
