Jerusalema Dance Challenge

We have been challenged to create a dance video! (See the article at: https://www.presbyterianmission.org/story/reformed-ministers-inswitzerland-take-steps-to-meet-the-jerusalema-dance-challenge/) We want all ages, shapes, sizes, dance levels to join us!! (Yes, really, that means we want YOU to dance with us.) Walkers, wheelchairs, crutches, two feet, two left feet? Anything goes! Join us on Saturday, May 15 at 2:00 pm (rain date is May 22) in the church parking lot We’ll take footage from all angles and in different areas. The final video will be compiled at a later date and will be shared with all. The challenge was issued by Presbyterian Mission. A dance video went viral during the pandemic all over the world, except for the U.S. We are making sure we don’t miss out. The dance is to a song written in South Africa called “Jerusalema.” It talks about the new Jerusalem found in Revelation 21 (“Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them.”) The video that went viral shows people dancing with their plates of food, the thing that they are most grateful for until there is heaven on earth.
