About The Event
What is Jackie's House?
Just outside of Santo Domingo in the area of Villa Milla, sits a bright orange and yellow house overflowing with love for the children living inside. The owners of this loving home, Tia Jackie and Tio Hernando, are currently taking care of 34 children and are always welcoming new kids into the home. Jackie’s House is a place where neglected, handicapped and abused kids have a beautiful home to grow in and learn about Daddy God and his love for all.
Below is a list of their requested and needed items.
Towels, bed sheets, panties size 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14; and women’s size small. Boxers size 3T, 6,8,10,12 & 14. Baby clothes size 3T. Kitchen utensils, large pots, large spoons, knives, etc. Vitamins for kids and adolescents, Acetaminophen, Benadryl, Pepto Bismol,
cream for foot fungus, talc powder, Visine eye drops, cough syrup, diaper rash (URGENT), diapers size #6, baby lotion, baby’s socks size 2T, socks all sizes for the older kids. Women’s personal hygiene items. Lightweight curtains.
Due to the lack of tools, repairs have not been done at Jackie’s House for a while. We need a drill, hammer, electric sander, electric saw, hand saw, welding machine, electric meter (volt),
battery charger, and an air pump for tires. We will keep a running list of the tools so that they are not duplicated.
