 “Youth Connection” at Trinity Presbyterian Church!

If yes…then come and be part of youth ministry here at Trinity Presbyterian Church!  "Youth Connection”: Meets most Sundays 6:00pm to 7:30pm from September thru June, with specially scheduled gatherings in the July and August time-period. Our Junior and Senior High "Youth Connection" meetings are for all students in grades six through eight (Junior High) and nine through twelve (Senior High).  We are all about making disciples here at Trinity Presbyterian Church, and that means including youth also!  Our “YOUTH CONNECTION” ministry challenges each of our students to live their lives as disciples of Jesus Christ every day…not just on Sundays.

Junior High gatherings consist of active group games, singing praise songs, and group discussions about church and biblical and secular issues. We enjoy watching videos and "hanging out," and eating and having fun.

Senior High sessions are similar, but when time allows separation, our focus is more mature and concentrated on each student’s spiritual growth.  Our talks have also involved discussions about what it means to be a Christian in today's society, the college transition, and conflicts between church ideals and society that can arise within home, school and church life.  We also have this wonderful habit of taking off on retreats, planning special events such as fundraisers and church socials, and serving the poor through various mission trips and events!

All youth are welcome and invited to join in this ministry and grow into full membership in the Body of Christ!

Ministry with youth is one of the most challenging and rewarding opportunities at Trinity Presbyterian Church.  We are currently praying for leadership in both the Junior and Senior High “Youth Connection” ministries for the 2007 - 2008 season.  We ask you to please pray for this ministry, and if you are interested in exploring how you can be involved serving youth, please contact the pastor or church office.
