3 years old through Eighth Grade

Church School is a fabulous opportunity for children to come and participate in the word of God!  We provide classes each sunday morning from September through June beginning at 9am.  Everyone is welcome!

Our children explore the scripture using the Presbyterian curriculum, We Believe.  Each lesson has a focus on a particular scripture and integrates multiple intelligence theory as well as spiritual practices throughout the lesson.  Our Church School program is engaging as well as interactive and our children have fun growing in their faith!

Our middle school class which is for youth sixth through eighth grade.  This class is also using the Presbyterian curriculum Bible Survey Course.  For this year the class will be working throught the Old Testament.  We believe that this course will increase each student's biblical knowledge, prepare them for confirmation and provide them with a strong foundation upon which to build their own faith journey.

In addition to our weekly church school classes, we also offer many other programs for the children to grow in their faith.  We participate in mission projects throughout the year.  Operation Christmas Child and a food drive for Elijah's Promise in New Brunswick allow us to help those around us.  The children particiapte in Spruce Up for Spring, in which we all participate in cleaning up the church grounds. 

We have our annual Christmas pageant, Children's Worship Service, Shepherd Program and every year our 3rd graders receive their Bibles!

Our program is alive, energizing and exciting as together we grow in faith!

Confirmation Class

This class is open to all nineth graders and older.  They meet every sunday morning from September through June at 9am. They work through bible study, church history and polity.   In addition to their weekly class studies, this group of young people have additional requirements to fulfill.  They attend a confirmation retreat at Presbyterian Camp Johnsonburg, attend weekly worship services, participate in worship, particiapte in a worship service, attend a Session meeting, participate in the Presbytery Pizza and Polity program as well as write their own statement of faith. 

This has proven to be a very meaningful and powerful time for our students as they explore what it means to be full members of the church.

 Nursery Care/Fun With Friends

Sundays, during worship Nursery care is provided each Sunday during the entire worship service for children under three years old, but restless children may be taken to the nursery at any time during the worship experience.

The Fun with Friends program is a special addition program, which falls under the auspices of Trinity's nursery care system. Fun with Friends is for children over three years old, preschool or students in early grades that can't quite make it through an entire worship service. This group usually meets directly after our congregation's "Message for the Young," about halfway through the service.

Attention All Parents --- Trinity's Church School Nursery Now Has A Pager System Installed!!!

Parents...now when you bring your child to our nursery, you will be handed a pager by our nursery staff!  If a staff member needs you at any time while you are in our building, or if there's an emergency, the pager will alert you by making a "buzzing" sound, alerting you to come to the nursery care area of our church school.
